Introduction
Hello! My name is Emily Hotchkiss, and I am in the Education Specialist Degree program in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University. I began my program Summer 2015 and will graduate Fall 2016.
I graduated with my Bachelor's degree and Master's degree from Valdosta State University. After graduating from VSU, I moved to Kentucky and taught Kindergarten- 3rd grade Special Education. In 2010, I moved home to South Georgia to teach at Thomas County Middle School. I currently teach 5th grade Math and Science at Thomas County Middle School. While researching options to further my education, I came upon Kennesaw's Instructional Technology program. I firmly believe that instructional technology can be an essential part of a student's success. The purpose of my online portfolio is to demonstrate mastery of the PSC Instructional Technology standards and ISTE NETS-C standards. In the Navigation menu, at the top of this page are links that you may visit to look in to the work I am completing for this program. In the "Standards" link, you will see artifacts and reflections relating to each particular standard listed. Please feel free to browse or to read some of my reflections in the Blog section of my portfolio. |
